Erica Hughes is a fluid artist from Chicago IL. Although a native of Chicago, Erica has resided in Dublin, Ireland with her wonderful children Tommy and Layla, and her husband Tom, for over ten years. Erica has always had a very deep connection with the healing power of expression through creative art in all its beautiful forms, from playing music, cake design and decoration, to her wonderfully unique mixed media/fluid art. She has a particularly keen eye for color pallets and composition, paired with a very expressive freestyle approach, which has been described as “a joy to watch”.

Erica started her YouTube channel “Erica Hughes Art” for the sole purpose of sharing and connecting with others. She says it best: “Fluid art has been such a big positive in my life—like a door to another place, it offers an escape through barriers that previously seemed impossible. If I can help even just one person unlock that door... I’m where I want to be.”
